Trove: custody for generative work

A local-first desktop product so creative teams keep AI outputs, masters, and provenance in one library — not scattered across folders and SaaS tabs.

The brief

Generative tools produce assets faster than teams can organize them. Peak Evergreen needed a product that respects local disks and NAS for realtime work, while still offering search, relationships, and optional offsite vault.

What we built

Trove Desktop (Flutter) plus a self-hosted server stack: ingest, multimodal embeddings, Midjourney watch, agents, and license scaffolding. Free for individual local use; upgrade path for seats, vault, and advanced agents.

Local-first Masters stay on disk
Free → upgrade Desktop first, teams later
Multimodal Image, video, audio, CAD

Outcome

A shippable product surface with clear marketing: download free, upgrade when collaboration and vault matter. This page is a PE-branded case-study candidate for peakevergreen.com.
